CEDAR SALMON: An Artful Online Auction
Friends of the Cedar River Watershed
The Cedar Salmon project is presented by Friends of the Cedar River Watershed , a non-profit organization dedicated to the stewardship and preservation of 188-square miles of habitat near Seattle, Washington. Our mission is to inspire conservation and protection of a healthy, sustainable Cedar River Watershed through restoration, education, and stewardship.
Welcome to the home of Cedar Salmon, a traveling art exhibition and online auction featuring unique works of art created by Pacific Northwest artists.
From September through December, ten artful salmon will be on display at venues along Western Washington's Cedar River, following the route taken by real sockeye and Chinook as they return home to their spawning streams.
We hope their journey will raise awareness and funding for our local watershed.
